When a booking is made with Essential Feeling, Gidea Park, Romford, time is allocated for the correct therapist to carry out the requested booking. It may not be possible to change bookings or therapy. By making a booking you agree to call or e-mail to cancel or amend any booking made at your earliest convenience. By making the booking with Essential Feeling, Gidea Park, Romford you agree to arrive on time for your treatment, a cancellation charge being the full cost of the treatment booked and cancelled, may apply should you be late. Cancellations or changes should be made no more than 24 hours before the booking time otherwise the full fee will be payable. Any block booking packages are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase and must be paid for in one go. Split payments will not be accepted. Bookings for key dates such as Bank Holidays and celebration days (for example, but not limited to, Mothers Day, Valentines Day,) will be payable in advance. Only once payment has cleared in these instances will your booking be confirmed.
It is a term of this booking that you complete your consultation form fully and accurately in good time for your treatment. You also accept that any treatment with Essential Feeling is of a complementary nature and in no way replaces traditional medicine or treatments.
Any special or introductory offers are not valid in conjunction with any other offer or promotion. An introductory offer only applies to a brand new customer with no previous booking for that treatment with Essential Feeling. The introductory offer of 1 hour and get 2nd hour free applies to consecutive bookings on the same date and may not be split over different days or different clients.
Payment is to be by cash only on the day. Should alternative methods of payment be required, these can be arranged, but must be cleared before the treatment takes place. Essential Feeling will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal property or oneself whilst on the premises. Lost property will be kept for a reasonable period of time not less than one month after which point it will be disposed of. Essential Feeling is a professional holistic therapy specialist providing only the complementary therapies listed on this website, please note this when making your booking.
Gift vouchers terms and conditions
A gift voucher allows the bearer to select items to the value specified on the gift voucher, or for the stated package at Essential Feeling. This voucher is valid for 3 months from the date stated on the gift voucher and must be quoted at the time of making the booking unless a specific date is noted on the voucher in which case the voucher will be valid for this appointment only.
The voucher may only be redeemed against full price therapies from Essential Feeling. No other offers or promotions are valid against this voucher.
There is no cash alternative to the voucher and no refund will be provided. The nominal face value of this gift voucher is 0.0001p.
No change will be given should the items selected not total the value on the front of this voucher. The entire voucher value must be used in one sitting. Should the value of the treatment exceed the value of this voucher, the balance will be due for payment before the treatment commences.
The voucher must be presented to the therapist prior to receiving any treatments.
Essential Feeling reserves the right to reject any voucher of notification, that it deems in its sole discretion has been photocopied, duplicated, defaced or otherwise tampered with.
One voucher per person per transaction. Each voucher may only be used once.
A referral voucher is valid for 3 months from the date of issue. It may be used against the full price of a session within this period. Vouchers may be combined with other referral vouchers, but are not transferable. There is no cash alternative to the referral voucher. The nominal face value of the referral voucher is 0.0001p. Please quote at the time of booking that you will be using a referral voucher. No change will be given should the items selected not total the value of the vouchers. Should the value of the treatment exceed the voucher, the balance will be due before the session commences. This voucher must be presented to the therapist before treatment commences. A goodwill voucher is valid for 3 months from the date of issue. It may be used against the full price of a session within this period. Vouchers may be combined with other goodwill vouchers, but are not transferable. There is no cash alternative to the goodwill voucher. The nominal face value of the goodwill voucher is 0.0001p. Please quote at the time of booking that you will be using a goodwill voucher. No change will be given should the items selected not total the value of the vouchers. Should the value of the treatment exceed the voucher, the balance will be due before the session commences. This voucher must be presented to the therapist before treatment commences. Essential Feeling reserves the right to reject any voucher that it deems in its sole discretion has been photocopied, duplicated, defaced or otherwise tampered with. We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. To be effective and fair to all our clients, we have the following policies.
At Essential Feeling we make every effort to be available for long hours because we know that our client’s have busy lives. This means we organise our lives around your schedule. We don’t work back to back from 7am to 10pm 7 days a week, if we did you wouldn’t get the quality service for which we have become known. The nature of being ‘on call’ for your convenience means that our lives revolve around you. Literally every day of the week is planned around who has booked in and when. So, we ask that you please respect this and be on time for your bookings so that we can continue to offer such flexibility in our appointment schedule and also give us adequate notice if your plans change for us to reschedule our lives as well as our appointments around your changed plans. We’ve detailed our policies regarding this for your information below.
24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to book this slot. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice, you will be charged for your appointment. This amount must be cleared prior to scheduling your next appointment.
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered to have cancelled their appointment and the full amount will become due as per the above cancellation policy.
If you arrive late, your session will be shortened. You have booked your therapist to be available between the times you have secured. They may not be available later. Regardless of the length of treatment actually provided, because your therapist was unavailable for other clients during your allocated booking period, the full session will be due. Out of respect for ourselves and other clients, please plan accordingly and be on time. If you are more than ten minutes late without any contact Essential Feeling reserve the right to pass your appointment onto another client.
All usual booking conditions will apply as per this page, other than payment due which will be waived as the prize. There is no alternative to the prize of the therapy won. All therapies will be carried out at Essential Feeling premises and transport and any other associated costs will be payable by the winner.

For instance, but not limited to, applying the offer to a course of three bookings for an existing client’s therapies.

The Purpose of processing Client Data
I hold and use client data in order to provide you with the best possible treatment options, support and advice.
Lawful Basis for holding and using Client Information
The lawful basis under which I hold and use for information is
a) my legitimate interests i.e. my requirement to retain the information in order to provide you with the best possible treatment options and advice
b) my requirement to hold your information for the following legal reasons:
a. ‘claims occurring’ insurance: (records to be kept for 7 years after last treatment)
b. law regarding children’s records (records to be kept until the child is 25 or if 17 when treated, then 26)
c. CNHC requirements to retain information for 8 years
d. periodic updates

As I hold special category data (i.e. health related information), the Additional Condition under which I hold and use this information is: for me to fulfil my role as a health care practitioner bound under the AoR Confidentiality as defined in the AoR Code of Practice and Ethics.
What information I hold and what I do with it
In order to give professional therapy treatments, I will need to ask for and keep information about your health. I will only use this for informing therapy treatments and any advice I give as a result of your treatment. The information to be held is:

Medical history and other health-related information
Treatment details and related notes
I will NOT share your information with anyone else (other than within my own practice, or as required for legal process) without explaining why it is necessary, and getting your explicit consent.
As I am treating as the result of a referral, I have to share certain details with the person who referred you. They will not know anything about our treatments which will remain confidential within our practise, only that you came.
I will keep your information in line with the lawful basis listed above.
Your data will not be transferred outside the EU without your consent.
Protecting Your Personal Data
I am committed to ensuring that your personal data is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, I have put in place appropriate technical, physical and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect from you.

To be able to complain to the ICO if you feel your details are not correct, if they are not being used in a way that you have given permission for, or if they are being stored when they don’t have to be.

If you don’t agree to your therapist keeping records of information about you and your treatments, or if you don’t allow them to use the information in the way they need to for treatments, the therapist may not be able to treat you
Your therapist has to keep your records of treatment for a certain period as described above, which may mean that even if you ask them to erase any details about you, they might have to keep these details until after that period has passed
Your therapist can move their records between their computers and IT systems, as long as your details are protected from being seen by others without your permission.
