Deoxycholic Acid

Deoxycholic acid is a bile acid which emulsifies and solubilises dietary fats in the intestine. When injected subcutaneously, it disrupts adipocyte cell membranes and destroys fat cells in that tissue.

Phosphatidylcholine (PPC)

The original fat dissolve product was phosphatidylcholine derived from soybean that was injected using mesotherapy techniques and became largely popular in the 1990s in Brazil. The product was used to reduce triglycerides and cholesterol levels in patients with coronary heart disease. Phosphatidylcholine, a component of lipoproteins, is a purified extract from lecithin. The phosphatidylcholine molecule is composed of choline, phosphoric acid and fatty acids and occurs naturally in the body, especially within nerve tissue, the liver and semen. Phosphatidylcholine is obtained by consuming soybeans, egg yolks, meat, and vegetables. The injection of phosphatidylcholine is thought to augment phosphatidylcholine in lipoproteins, thereby enhancing their ability to mobilise fat, cholesterol, and triglycerides. It is believed to induce lipolysis/fat breakdown & softening. Phosphatidylcholine is effective in diminishing the treated fatty areas with minimal side effects. They concluded that treatment with this product was safe, effective, and inexpensive.
