When we hear radio frequency cavitation treatment is a way of reducing fat naturally without surgery and tightening loose skin on your body at the same time. When we first heard this term, we thought it sounded rough, akin with what you’d think of with traditional liposuction treatments. However, it’s a really gentle, and would you believe relaxing, ultrasound contouring treatment that helps your body to grow new collagen cells as a result of this ultrasonic procedure.

At Essential Feeling, in Romford, Essex, we use ultrasonic cavitation on your body to achieve astounding results.

How does radio frequency cavitation work?

First off, when we hear cavitation, it makes it sound like it’s some kind of root canal surgical procedure rather than a gentle contouring which uses heat waves for the reduction of fat and tightening of skin. Whilst, strictly speaking, cavity may be the correct work, what we’re actually talking about here is creating a little space for the cells to work. Really, we’d call it breathing space.

promax cavitation radiofrequency radio frequency breaking down fat cellsWhat’s actually happening is that we place a soothing handpiece on the treated tissue to lift it so that after a few minutes, the lymphatic system runs optimally. Think about how bubbles gently pop against the side of a glass. The effects of this are that cellulite is reduced, we have more collagen and elasticity in our skin and our body is more effective at removing waste products. This can mean fat too, hence why radio frequency can be an effective, non-invasive way for the removal of inches.

In details, what is happening is that the handpiece is generating sound waves which penetrate deep into the fat layer. This sound causes vibrations which generate microbubbles to form within your interstitial fluid (the fluid that surrounds our cells). When these bubbles collapse, it creates a tiny shock wave which temporarily changes the constitution of the membrane which surrounds the fat cell. This allows lipids (a soluble molecule) to escape through the more permeable membrane into our lymphatic system and ultimately expelled from our body.

Time for a quick note though because for optimal results we should always combine radio frequency cavitation with excellent exercise and nutritional diet. We can advise on this.

Explain in more detail. What is ultrasonic Cavitation and RF (radiofrequency)?

Ultrasonic cavitation, also known as ultrasonic liposuction and ultra cavitation, is a non-surgical fat removal procedure that uses scientifically proven non-invasive technology to break down unwanted fat, while radiofrequency is a non-invasive heat treatment that helps tighten the most deep layers of our skin so we’re not left with a saggy or wrinkled appearance from skin that is too big for the new, reduced surface area following fat reduction.

This allows us to contour and refine the skin on your face and body.

How does it work?

This treatment uses two types of technology – ultrasound – uses low-frequency sound waves to heat and vibrate the fat cell layer under the surface of the skin, creating pressure, because of which fat cells eventually liquefy and release their contents to safely remove them from the body.

AND RADIO FREQUENCY TECHNOLOGY:

Uses advanced technology that safely heats the deep layers of the skin, allowing collagen fibres to contract and reform, lift and tighten the skin more strongly. (We can use radiofrequency for both the face and body)

Which areas can be treated?

Areas that can be treated with radio frequency cavitation are usually those that are stubborn and unresponsive to exercise:

*Abdomen

*Hips

*Love Handle

*Inner and Outer Flanks of Upper Thigh

*Upper Arm Thigh/Bingo Wings

*Bra and Back Rolls

*Buttocks

*Face Chin (RF Only)

What non-surgical multi-polar radio frequency cavitation?

This is a non-invasive European fat removal treatment. Unlike known methods such as surgical liposuction or abdominoplasty, this is a non-invasive treatment for fat emulsification and cellulite reduction. We can now contour your body without anaesthesia, scarring and no downtime. Treatment has immediate results, and further fat reduction continues within the weeks following treatment procedures.

It works by using controlled waves of energy which create heat in the subcutaneous and deep dermal layers of our skin. It’s this thermal effect which improves our circulation which in turn increases fat cell metabolism. Ultimately, it’s this which reduces the appearance of cellulite.

Theis thermal energy also stimulates collagen to contract instantly so as soon as your treatment is over, your skin already looks tighter. However, these effects are short term. The truly amazing results are in how the sessions are causing a longer term improvement in the collagen fibres resulting in firmer, tighter skin on a more long-term basis.

Combined with the additional handpiece, which includes vacuum massage technology with heating the deeper layers of skin and the lymphatic drainage effect, helps us process lipids out of our system, up to six times faster than without lymphatic massage. This is not only an additional healthy detoxification side effect, but it also improves the appearance of cellulite.

Is RF therapy a detoxification process?

Fat cells store toxins along with excess fat. So when the cells release the stored fats, toxins are also released for expulsion from the body.

You can read all about how our lymphatic system expels waste in this article, but for ultimate effectiveness, then we always recommend exercising as soon as possible after your RF therapy and within 72 hours. We can help guide you in the right direction as to what would be suitable forms of exercise for your preferred treatment outcomes.

What is tripolar and multi polar RF therapy?

This is a highly advanced method of administering low intensity ultrasound liposuction, fat removal and skin tightening. Depending where on the body you want your treatment, we will either use tripolar or multipolar frequency to reach the subcutaneous layer of your skin. This is where the fatty deposits are held. When these break down by the radiofrequency, you’ll enjoy the knock on effect of skin contraction, additional collagen growth with the end results being fewer wrinkles, body shaping/ contouring and younger, fresher looking skin.

We apply this with different handpieces perfectly suited to the size of the area you would like treating. And we’ll use circular motions over the treatment site. This will penetrate warmth deep into your tissue so that fat is easier for your body to metabolise into your lymphatic system. By using the vacuum function along with this system, we then support and speed up your body’s natural ability to detox the excess fat and waste.

If you’re just looking to generate younger looking skin on your face and neck for instance, we don’t expect there to bepromax bipolar face radiofrequency therapy with vacuum radio frequency a lot of excess fat to remove. Here we use a specialist premium handpiece which uses bi polar radio frequency and a vacuum. This creates the gold star relaxing experience, whilst at the same time, performed using thermal energy systems which offer women and men specifically meant to work with the more fragile facial dermal tissues for instant tightening and lifting. These devices are perfect for around your eyes, jawline and neck. And it still comes with the same long-term collagen stimulation for a younger, fresher appearance.

Introducing the vacuum (when administered by a professional) also improves circulation and removes toxins for a brighter complexion.

Is this the same as coolsculpting?

No. Coolsculpting freezes fat which kills it and the body then eliminates this as waste, whereas we use heat the help our body break down the molecules and use massage to further speed up recovery time.

There is pain and numbness following cool sculpting. This is a non-invasive treatment protocol which, beyond a warmth, has little side effects or risks.

A cool sculpting treatment will often leave you with bruising following the activity, no matter how carefully the practitioner will target an area. Where are with Radiofrequency, you may have a pink or red appearance for a few hours following your session.

Is this the same as the radiofrequency used in hospitals?

Yes, and no. The NHS actually uses our machine, and as such is the same technology (at 36 KHz) that they use to break down conditions in treatment such as kidney stones. However, it’s the application that is different. We only use the machine for beauty and cosmetic purposes, or those wanting to reduce their BMI in order to get underweight ahead of a medical procedure.

Are there any health issues which mean I wouldn’t be able to be treated by your therapist?

We wouldn’t recommend RF therapy if you have vascular issues, you’re within pregnancy or have a pacemaker. It is a mild technique and so the average person looking for an alternative way to get rid of an inch or two will be extremely happy with both the speed and the pain-free nature of their results. Please be extremely diligent and complete your client intake form to the maximum.

What is the price?

We have a full breakdown of costs and what patients will pay based on the area they want covered and the type of treatment they will receive.

Before you come along for a session, please note we require our clients to complete a consultation process. This includes an initial ten minute WhatsApp call which, if successful, will be followed by a consultation form detailing anything that may put you at risk of an outcome which is lower than our high standard.

Who is this treatment suitable for?

Radio frequency cavitation is best suited to anyone wanting to lose weight and knock a few points off their BMI. If you’re active, then all the better and if you’re in your middle age period of life, then better still.

The machine is great because it targets stubborn areas as we’ve mentioned above, so pay special attention to where you’re typically looking to take care of.

We can cover this off in the pre-treatment consultation appointment we require you to complete before you come along to your first, in person, session.
