Does this hurt?
You can choose to apply some rich topical numbing cream of your choice prior to your therapy if you know you have a pain threshold, but the treatment doesn’t really hurt.
In terms of healing, the visible effects don’t take a long time. We use this at night and then the next morning, we’re good to go. But the way we all heal is different, and it depends on what time of day you have your sessions. You’ll be red for a few hours afterwards, it’ll feel a little like sun irritation. But the discomfort is minimal. This is because it’s not really invasive.
Does this require maintenance?
As with all of these treatments, there is a plan available should you want it. But, you certainly don’t need it. Whilst we recommend multiple treatments, certainly at first, we have before and after pictures of our microneedling, which clearly shows a difference after just one session. All without the need for plastic surgery, and our procedures aren’t anywhere near as expensive either. Plus they’re way more natural looking.
In terms of how frequent, generally every four to six weeks is fine, for the first six(ish) sessions to rejuvenate to the best. And then you just book in when it suits you after that. If it suits you.
Is this safe?
