What is PRF treatment?

With PRP and PRF therapies, combined with red light therapy & radio frequency, you can unlock the power of your own collagen to reveal a more youthful and radiant version of yourself. Plus, when used correctly, you will also heal faster after surgery and if you’ve had a fat transfer, you can keep more fat alive too.

Speed up your healing after surgery with PRF

If you have had surgery, PRP or PRF will speed up your healing, especially when combined with MLD (manual lymphatic drainage massage) and when used alongside, red light therapy, the results are astounding.

This groundbreaking therapy directs wound healing properties found in your blood to the site of trauma and so you heal faster. A faster healing process is not only more comfortable for you, but gives you better results and less chance of infection — if you don’t have a wound, there’s nothing to infect. This transport of blood to a specific area, also means that if you’ve had a fat transfer, we can help keep the fat alive so that you have better surgical outcome e.g. your BBL will be bigger because less transplanted fat will die and be excreted from your body.

Secure more live fat after a fat transfer (e.g. BBL) with PRF therapy

If you’ve had fat transfer PRP but more often PRF is recommended to secure more live fat. By directing the healing part of your blood to the site where you have had the fat transfer, you improve circulation. This blood flow supplies the fat with what it needs to live. And therefore you end up with more live fat, less necrosis (dead fat) which your body expels. as there is less waste running through your lymphatic system, you have less chance of infections too, and you simultaneously heal faster with less swelling.

Does PRF work?

Absolutely! We don’t have anything else to say. There is a ton of scientific research, but more importantly, we have seen the results ourselves. PRP and PRF work.

Does PRF work for hair loss?

Yes, it does. Platelet-rich fibrin matrix for hair growth is a real thing. You don’t need to have costly and, more importantly, expensive hair implants. We have a number of patients who have undergone our specialist micro needling therapy and we can say with absolute conviction that PRF works for hair loss.

How does PRF work?

PRF works by adding the good stuff that your body naturally produces back into the site where you want some help.

When you’re injured, your body sends blood to the site. This blood carries everything your tissues and organs need to fix you as fast as possible. The waste from this process is then carried away in your lymphatic fluid which we drain with our lymphatic massage.

When we withdraw some blood from one area, and remove everything except what your body needs to heal, we are helping it out. Taking some of the leg work away if you want to think about it like that.

Then we inject this fluid (PRF) back into your body where you need it most. So then, not only do you have a higher concentration of healing product where you need it the most, but because we’ve spun away the waste, we’re also making it easier (and therefore quicker) for your body to process.

This leads to faster healing and less waste so less swelling and therefore fewer MLD massages.

Reveal a Youthful You!

Introducing PRF (Platelet-rich fibrin), a ground-breaking second-generation therapy that utilises your own blood to promote better healing from within. With a higher concentration of platelets, fibrin, and white blood cells, PRF is a game-changer in reducing wrinkles and signs of aging (including reversing hair loss), improving dry or oily facial skin, stimulating hair growth and improving quality, and reducing skin scars caused by acne.

As we age, we may experience a loss of volume in our skin, resulting in sagging and wrinkles because of a decrease in collagen and elastin. But fear not, there are non-surgical options available to stimulate collagen production, tighten loose skin, and restore volume to your face.

Believe in the power of your own body’s ability to heal, from trauma, or age with PRF

Experience the power of nature with Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), an innovative solution that restores youthfulness and promotes hair growth. Within weeks of treatment, you can witness the incredible changes brought about by PRF, with maximum results achieved within six to eight weeks.

Platelet-rich fibrin preparation

Unlike traditional PRP products, if you’re looking at how to make platelet rich fibrin, you’ll notice that PRF is spun at a lower speed, preserving the precious white blood cells and stem cells that are essential for healing. By utilising the natural potential of your own body, PRF offers a holistic approach to rejuvenation that is both effective and inspiring. Discover the transformative benefits of PRF today and embrace a revitalised you!

The Path to Transformation

We will take a small blood from you which we will spin in a centrifuge at a lower speed. This allows us to extract the PRF, which we can then target into areas of your face or scalp, or wherever it is that you have undergone surgery and need to heal.

PRF versus PRP

The entire process is quick and virtually painless, with the layers of the blood to remain more closely together. This retention of key elements, such as white blood cells and stem cells, ensures that the PRF treatment offers a greater concentration of healing factors than traditional PRP. Additionally, the gentle spinning process ensures that each individual cell is treated with the utmost care, preserving the highest possible number of stem cells in the final PRF product.

The transformative power of PRF can be harnessed in a variety of ways, from facial injections to micro-needling treatments that target specific areas such as under the eyes, forehead lines, crow’s feet, lip lines, laugh lines. In this instance PRF therapy will brighten your skin and tighten tissue, which is how it has sometimes become known as the PRP facelift.

However, in addition, at Essential Feeling in Romford, Essex & Central London, we also use this to help you heal. PRP is awesome, so if for some reason PRF isn’t available for you, we can provide PRP instead. But PRF really is the next level in terms of healing benefits and stimulating hair (re)growth.

Discover the magic of PRF composites and experience its long-lasting benefits. With just three to four treatments, spaced out every six to eight weeks, you can enjoy skin tightening, collagen production, and enhanced skin quality that can last up to a year. You’d use a similar schedule if you needed to heal. But also think about adding in red light therapy as well. It is worth it.

The transformative effects may take up to three to four months to fully manifest, but trust the process because you start healing straight away, and this then continues well after the first session.

Safe and natural treatment

PRF (platelet rich fibrin) is a safe and natural treatment that utilises your body’s own platelets, ensuring that disease transmission is not a factor. With PRF, you’ll experience a greater degree of comfort immediately after the procedure and lower your risk of infection. It’s a convenient and hassle-free way to achieve accelerated healing and a more radiant you. Try your first PRF treatment today and unleash your inner glow!

Some other uses for PRFPRF eyes tear ducts

Platelet-rich fibrin in dentistry, including dental implants. There’s a big platelet-rich fibrin in dermatology including under your eyes or just one area for example. Or, you could go all out and have a platelet-rich fibrin facial which gives instant results which then continue to grow.

How much is the PRF price?

The platelet rich fibrin cost varies. Because we work with patients who have undergone surgery, we’re working on different base levels, sizes and types of wounds.

You notice that we are significantly cheaper than the competition, this is because we are working with you to heal you. We’re not here to extort people, we’re here to provide you the tools you need to get your best results at a fair price, for you and for us.

Some other things you may want to consider is tying PRP or PRF in with red light therapy. It really is not only relaxing but one of the best healing techniques we have seen.

Depending why you are having PRF therapy or PRP treatment, you may be looking to enhance your wound healing capacity. In which case, consider some vitamin injections too. Please note, we will not pressure you in to any of these options. We just believe in giving you the information so you can make informed choices for yourself.

Things you should know

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) treatments are cutting-edge regenerative procedures that use your body’s natural resources for healing and tissue renewal. While these two techniques share some contraindications, PRP emerges as a versatile choice, especially for individuals who might not qualify for PRF due to specific conditions:

  1. Blood Disorders: PRP steps up as a safer alternative for those with mild to moderate blood clotting or bleeding disorders because we are not focussing on using clotting fibrins with PRP.
  2. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Both PRP and PRF are typically avoided. However, PRP gains an edge with its simplified preparation process and reduced manipulation of blood components, making it a potentially safer option. That said, to be safe, we just wouldn’t recommend messing with anything while you’re pregnant or breastfeeding. It can wait.
  3. Autoimmune Disorders: PRP has fewer immune system interactions and complications.
  4. Certain Skin Conditions: For mild skin conditions like small patches of eczema or psoriasis PRP treatments may be more suitable as we an apply this topically and it’s thinner consistency will soak into the skin easier than PRF which is typically thicker.
You are unique

Your unique health factors and medical history play a pivotal role in determining the ideal treatment. A comprehensive consultation with a qualified healthcare provider ensures that you embark on the right path and if you are in any doubt at all, we always recommend speaking to your doctor first. Their expertise will guide you towards the most fitting treatment choice, tailored to your individual health needs.

While PRP might emerge as a go-to option in certain scenarios, it’s important to note that situations can arise where both PRP and PRF are not recommended. For example if you have lymphedema it’s not always advisable to draw blood as it could carry an increased risk of infection/ complications so always please check with your GP.  Always prioritise consulting with a medical expert to make informed decisions regarding regenerative treatments, unlocking their full potential while ensuring your safety.

It’s important to note that individuals with blood clotting disorders may not be eligible for PRF therapies, but we have other options including PRP.
